The world needs more poetic covens — affinity groups for gathering and sharing ideas with kindred spirits, anchored in shared intentions to disrupt and disarm systems of domination. Creative writing has magical and transformative power, especially when done in groups.
As BIPOC, our creative expression through poetry, songwriting, clayworking and rhythmic movement all have the power to stir pre-colonial memory and bring forth transformative action. And we need more spaces devoted to this kind of liberatory dreaming and magical excavation.
The Dream Seeding Circle is a donation-based, monthly space bringing BIPOC creatives together and grounded in the belief that when we dream together, we terraform our world.

Among us are writers, visual artists, chefs, clayworkers and visionaries. We (re)connect with our respective diasporas through poetry, food and plants as medicine, song and dance, and embodied memory tracing. We first assembled in 2022 and continue to build collaborative knowledge through the exchanging of creative ideas across time and space.
